On behalf of the staff of the Joint Activities Program sponsored by the Jersey City Public School District, I extend warm gratitude to the corporations who generously donated to our efforts during the past school year: Goldman Sachs (Chanda Gibson, Vice President); Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (Barbara Deen, Building Manager); Liberty Savings Federal Credit Union (Maria Solorzano, Vice President) and Public Service Electric and Gas Company (Richard Dwyer, Regional Public Affairs Manager.)
The mission of the Joint Activities Program is to provide students in grades five and six opportunities to interact with children of the diverse cultures that comprise their city. The program integrates cultural awareness with the sharing of new and meaningful field trip experiences. The goal for participating students is to realize that despite cultural differences, the similarities they share as city residents and as human beings are most important.
The generosity of these corporate donors helped greatly in enabling us to achieve our goals.
Sincerely,
Roy Beeler
Joint Activities Program Coordinator
