On behalf of the Nisler Family, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make our fundraiser such a tremendous success.
A simple "Thank You" does not seem adequate for the outpouring of support and generosity we have received from North Bergen and the surrounding communities. Local businesses, friends, neighbors, NB & Memorial Alumni opened up their hearts and pocketbooks in such big ways. Hashways Deli's generosity was superior; they prepared and donated most of the food & paper products. Our biggest contributors who we need to thank are: Jimmy D's Blues Saloon, Sparky's and Full Moon Tavern. In addition, Gary Hashway, Eddy Bartulovich & Frank Bello were colossal parts of our fundraising efforts. They all reached out to so many neighboring businesses & Bruin Alumni and collected donations prior to the event.
The event took place this past Saturday, October 13th there were over 125 people who came out to show their support for Kevin, Arilys and Ariana. It goes to show you that there are still lots of first-rate and kind-hearted people still left in this world; especially in Hudson County.
North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco, Commissioner Allen Pascual & John "Digger" O'Dell were so very kind in allowing the event to take place at the Pop Warner Building.
What a night!! What a huge success!! We may all live in different states, counties and town but when all is said and done North Bergen is the where it all began and where we come back to get it done!!
