Dear Editor,

On behalf of my wife Audrey and my children, Shane and Kaitlyn, after the recent fire at 110 First Street, I would like to thank a few people.

First, I would sincerely like to thank everybody in the Fire and Police Department who put their lives at risk that night and valiantly fought the fire; you are the unsung heroes of this town. I would like to thank Mayor David Roberts and the Director of Health and Human Services John Pope and everyone else in City Hall who helped all of the victims in the days after the fire. I would also like to thank everyone at O'Donoughes, The Shannon and everyone who donated to the victims in the aftermath. Your names are too many but I thank you all.

I would especially like to thank Al Arezzo and everyone in the Building Department and Zoning Department; Nick Petruzzelli from JJJ Construction and Frank Minervini from Minervini and Vandermark Architects Co. for coming together in such a fast and professional manner to help me save the building from collapse. I cannot thank you enough.

I was born 3,000 miles away but in the last week I was made to feel like I was born and raised in Hoboken, which might not happen in too many towns in America. So again, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all.

Gura mile maith agat! (A million thanks to you)
Sincerely,
Aidan Boyle
