I would like to take this time to thank the I.C.U. of Hoboken University Medical Center for the excellent care and compassion they extended to my husband Jack Della Fave, Sr. during the dates of 7/18 and 7/20.
This staff allowed my family to celebrate the life and grieve the death of our husband, father, brother and grandfather. The compassion, care and attention extended to Jack at times was so heart touching that I started to consider them members of our family.
They walked us through, counseled us in treatment and helped us make his departure from us a peaceful, loving event. My family and I will never forget you and will keep you in our prayers.
Thank you Dr. Miller, Dr. Thorpe, Dr. Gonzalez, Dr. Pierre and all the other doctors and nurses of whom I don't even know your names but you were so instrumental in his care. I want to thank the nurse who called the priest for me and even wanted to go to O.L.G. for one. You all made a traumatic experience a lot easier on me and my family. My sincere love and thanks.
