A mass of Christian burial was offered Jan. 30 at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church for Pauline A. McDonald, 75, of Jersey City. She passed away at home unexpectedly on Jan. 25. Born in Jersey City, she remained a lifelong resident. An avid bowler, she belonged to several local leagues. She had been active in the Cub and Boy Scouts, having served on the Boy Scout Committee and as Den Leader Coach for Troop 74 of St. Nicholas Church where she was also a parishioner. Pauline is survived by her husband of 54 years, James C. McDonald (retired JCPD-ESU); her sons, James J and his wife Laura of Williamsburg, Va. and William F. and his fiance Judith as well as his grandsons, Sean Patrick and Ryan James McDonald; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
