JERSEY CITY -- After a fire took the lives of four people on Grant Avenue on March 6, Mayor Steve Fulop and the Jersey City Council are teaming up with United Way of Hudson County to help those displaced by the fire.

A representative from United Way will be at the Porto Lounge on Friday, March 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. to receive donations. Those donating should indicate in the memo portion of their check that it is to the “Grant Avenue Fire Relief.”
