Division of recreation announces registration for co-ed softball

Mayor Mark A. Smith has announced that the division of recreation has begun registration for the 2014 co-ed softball league. The fee for the co-ed softball league is $45 per player. The fees collected will go towards the costs of running the program. The fee is non-refundable. Rosters are available in city hall, room #13. Rosters must include name, address, date of birth, and telephone number of all players. Rosters have a minimum of 14 players and maximum of 25 players. There must be at least 4 men and 3 women on the field at all times.

Grammar school players or those who have just completed grammar school are ineligible to participate. Before submitting a roster, please make sure your team will be able to participate. Forfeits are disruptive to the league and are frustrating to those ready to play. Games will take place during the week, and on Saturday and/or Sunday evenings.
