Gladys Hammerle of Secaucus, aunt of the late Frank Schmitt of Secaucus, celebrated her 100th birthday Saturday April 19, 2014 at a dinner in a near-by restaurant attended by her family.

Gladys was born in Bucks county, PA. to John Hammerle and Veronica Kremmel on April 21, 1914. She resided in various places in New York and New Jersey before moving to Secaucus eight years ago. She is currently residing at The Fountains at the Manor.
