Despite the less-than-sunny weather, thousands of people flooded Washington Street in Hoboken to enjoy a free day of live music, food, and artwork last Sunday, May 3. With live performances from the chart-topping ’60s band The Box Tops and Jersey City pop sensation Val Emmich, the festival welcomed an estimated 400 vendors and guests from across New Jersey and the tri-state area.

“I was really surprised at the turnout,” said coordinator of Hoboken Cultural Affairs Geri Gallo. “It was like being a kid again and putting on the galoshes and raincoats and jumping in puddles and just having a good time.” - SA
