Funeral services took place June 18 for Carmella Saluzzi, 97, a lifelong Hoboken resident. She passed away peacefully at the Riverton Rehabilitation Center in Rahway. “Millie”, as she was known, was a retired employee of the Shoup-Owens Paper Company in Hoboken after 35 years of service. Carmella was a resident of the Fox Hill Senior Citizen Complex before moving with her only surviving niece and nephew in marriage, Linda and Anthony Coppolecchia. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Saluzzi in 1978; and a son at the age of four in 1948, Dominic Saluzzi. She was also predeceased by her only brother, Perry DiGiovanni, in 2005. Also surviving is a great niece, Donna Doll and her husband Chris, and their son Nicholas Doll. Services arranged by the Failla Funeral Home, Hoboken.
