BAYONNE – A meeting for city residents to discuss issues concerning the Bayonne Bridge roadway-raising will be held on Monday, July 14, at 7 p.m. at 174 Broadway, the city’s downtown constituent office.

Mayor James Davis, City Council President Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski, and First Ward Councilman Thomas Cotter will be present at the meeting.

The construction project is being undertaken to ensure that larger vessels can pass under the Bayonne Bridge it on their way to Port Newark.

PA gets about 1 square mile of land from 1st st to 7th street tax free. We have to pay just to leave our city. Now they are making life hell for us. Let's give the PA a haircut. Bring back the 1st street ferry, subsidize it. With a little commuter bus that takes folks right over to the Free Staten Island Ferry. See how much the PA likes that.
