A memorial mass was celebrated Aug. 4 at St. John the Baptist Church - Chapel for Joan V. Pusaver, 84, of Jersey City. She passed away July 25. Born in Secaucus to the late Michael Greene and Charlotte Rowe, she grew up in Union City and lived in Harrison for a short time, but mostly resided in Jersey City. She had been employed with the Emerson Radio Company and Hostess Cupcakes early in her life before becoming a homemaker to tend to her family. Joan was member of the VFW - Auxiliary, a member of the Grandview Terrace Tenants Association and was a well known woman who loved Jersey City and attending many of its ethnical festivals. She was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Pusaver (2002) and her sisters Marilyn and Mariam Greene. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Carol, Robert and Barry Pusaver, her siblings; Shirley and Cliff, and her grandchildren; Barry, Laurenand Valerie, great-grandchildren Evan Xavier Pusaver and Tristan Michael Sharry. Services arranged by the Introcaso Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City.
