There is no such thing as buying a veteran plot. This is a sales strategy used by some civilian cemeteries to attract veterans.

All veterans’ cemeteries are free for veteran, wife and any dependent child.

In New Jersey at the present time, there is a state federally funded cemetery General Doyle in High Town, and in the near future, a cemetery will be constructed in Sussex County.

The following Federal Cemeteries:

1.) Long Island, New York

2.) Indian Town Gap, Pennsylvania

3.) Arlington Cemetery, Virginia

4.) A burial in the ground Purple Heart or Silver Star

All veterans’ ashes could be buried in Columbine.
