Dear Editor:

I would like to thank all the voters who supported me on Election Day. It was so rewarding to see such a large turnout. Our town is continually moving in a positive direction, and I feel the residents are pleased and encouraged as proven by the outcome of the election. I offer a special thanks to all the workers for their diligent effort and work ethic, which made the day a successful one. During the campaign leading up to the November election, I will continue to address the residents’ issues and concerns in the first ward and the town as a whole.

A couple of months ago Mayor Elwell and I requested the county to install a digital traffic light at the location of Dorigo Lane and County Avenue, near Kroll Heights and Impreveduto Towers. A couple of weeks ago the new traffic light was installed, and now senior residents and other pedestrians will be aware of how much time they will have to cross these heavily traveled streets.
