A funeral mass took place Aug. 14 at Immaculate Conception, Secaucus, for Patricia J. Jakubowski, 70, of Secaucus. She passed away Aug. 9 at her daughter’s home. Born in Jersey City to the late Alfred and Loretta (Hansen) Kloo, Patricia was a lifelong resident of Secaucus. She was a member of the North Hudson Action Corp and Action Foundation Board of Directors, Wrap 4 A Smile and Secaucus Municipal Alliance Board of Trustees, the Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department, and the Senior Advisory Board. She worked as a crossing guard at ICC before becoming an administrative assistant with the Town of Secaucus. Predeceased by her husband Robert, and son Robert John Jr. “Jake”, she is survived by her daughter Donna Sabella; brothers Alfred “Chuck” (Judy), and Kenneth (Karen) Kloo; and nephews Matthew (Tracy), Alex, and Adam Kloo. Also surviving is her granddaughter, Sara.
