I am Adela Rohena and I’m a graduate of Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City. I work as an educator in the Jersey City public school system. Currently, I am a candidate for Freeholder of Hoboken (and this position includes parts of Ward D in the Jersey City Heights area.) From the Lackawanna Transportation Station, to Sinatra Park and beyond, I will continue to link the best of Hoboken to the best of Jersey City. My volunteer work as a community activist has consisted of: Fighting for more convenient parking. Fighting against reckless tax abatements and eminent domain issues. Fighting for real affordable housing My only opponent is currently running for two positions on the same ballot in the same election, freeholder and mayor of Hoboken. Even the Jersey Journal questioned the validity of this. I am asking for your support. I am running for freeholder to serve the entire community: Republicans, Democrats or any other affiliation! Every resident in Hudson County deserves a Freeholder that is available all the time, not someone who will misrepresent you from the mayoral office in Hoboken. This Nov. 7, you have an opportunity to vote to make a positive change to your city and your quality of life by voting for me.
(6B on the ballot)
