HOBOKEN--The Hoboken Police Department is investigating a flyer which was allegedly distributed over the weekend with a picture of mayoral candidate Ravi Bhalla and the statement, "Dont let TERRORISM take over our town."

According to a press release from the police department, it is investigating this as a "bias incident." It needs the public’s help in identifying two individuals who are allegedly persons of interest in the case.

The press release states that On Friday Nov. 3 at approximately 8:40 p.m. councilman and mayoral candidate Michael DeFusco called police to inform them of an unknown man allegedly disseminating altered DeFusco campaign literature that pictured councilman and mayoral candidate Ravi Bhalla and read, “Don’t let TERRORISM take over our Town.”

Defusco's campaign workers alerted DeFusco to the flyers and immediately called police and began to gather the fliers from vehicles, according to the press release.

Hoboken Police checked the area for the individuals allegedly involved but did not find them.

If anyone has information as to the identity of any of these people, or you are the person pictured, please contact the Hoboken Police Department at (201) 420-2131 or (201) 420-2106 and ask to speak with a detective.

It's being reported that a person of interest has come forward voluntarily to speak with police. What's frightening is the person is aligned with reform and the official report isn't being made public until after election. This is gutter politics. Chief Ferrante must come forward immediately and release the information thebthe public. This is outrageous. Just because reform made younthe chief doesn't mean you can just swipe this under the carpet. An absolute disgrace. Ask any cop they'll likely tell you who it is until the information is made public.

this is the most ridiculous made up BS i've ever heard, do you really think anyone is stupid enough to believe that? this has nothing to do with any reform candidates and you know it.

also, you aren't "snoopy" who frequently comments on GA.

Rtrux, desperate times call for stupid antics. They'll sober up in a day or two.

Complete B.S. No one has turned himself in. Confirmed with HPD Chief Ferrante. Get lost.
