Funeral services were held Jan. 26 for Josette Edmond, 79, of Jersey City. She passed away Jan. 21 at home. Josette was born in a beautiful little town on the southern side of Haiti called Cavaillon. She immigrated to Jersey City in the late 1960s. Josette worked as an administrator for the Jersey City Medical Center for 30 years, retiring in 2008. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church and was a member of the St. Jude Society. She was the wife of the late Rafael; mother of Frank and his wife Suzanne and Steve and his wife Lisa, and grandmother of Kennedy, Natasha, and Tatyana. She is also survived by her younger sisters Gladys Noziere-Etienne, Simone Noziere, and Yolande Bruno and her brother Antoine Noziere.
