A funeral mass was offered Feb. 26 at Saint Ann’s Church, Hoboken, for LeeAnn J. Cervelli (Cappiello) 59. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband, children and loved ones. Born in Jersey City and raised in Hoboken, LeeAnn attended Sacred Heart Academy. After attending Saint Peter’s College, LeeAnn was a teacher for schools in both Hoboken and Weehawken. Predeceased by her father Pasquale “Cappy” Cappiello, she is survived by her husband Emanuel “Brother” Cervelli, long time owner of Cervelli’s Market, her children Frank and Leanna, son-in-law Michael, her mother Anna Cappiello, her brother Patrick Cappiello and his wife Debra and her sister-in law Angela Cervelli. She was aunt to Angela, Damon, Danielle, Deanna and Patrick. LeeAnn will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, tremendous strength and unforgettable smile. An extraordinary, selfless and loyal friend who always thought of others first, LeeAnn was by so many. Entombment will follow at Madonna Cemetery and Mausoleum in Fort Lee.
