Immigrants save this nation a great deal of money

To the Editor:

Regarding Mr. Schenk's letter about undocumented immigrants, does he want to be paying $12 for an exterior carwash or triple the price of a diner meal? I sure don't. What about the price of fruits, veggies, and construction? These seemingly unwelcomed guests actually provided us with needed service that an American wouldn't want to do for all the tea in China, at far, far less of a cost. If he or anyone else doesn't like it, boycott the products that I just mentioned. It's clear that you don't own a diner or a carwash, Mr. Schenk, or your business would go bust in no time. Also, what about the Social Security System, already in dire straits, not having the contributions of these folks, because they can't get the money back when they hit 65 years old? What about all of the taxes they pay on purchases in our areas? Trump knows this all too well and has these ambitious little men working at his palace called Mar-a-Lago in opulent Palm Beach, Florida. Mass shootings galore and Mr. Trump is focusing on these desperate, humble folk. They do not qualify for section 8, Medicaid, and the like, and, even though all too many of their daughters probably will eventually, unlike Asians, West Indian, Cuban and African immigrants, they are still saving this nation a great deal of money, indeed.

May God bless them and keep them!
