JERSEY CITY – Art House Productions presents “Hot Winter”, featuring its first artist-in-residence Raven Taisce White, founder of the Birdhouse Collective. “Hot Winter” follows five humans as they struggle to understand one another, unifying in difference and falling apart in sameness. The performers occupy a world between the real and unreal, moving through confusion, violence, and shifting gravities to find communication through touch and mutually decided blindness.

“Hot Winter” is a surrealistic look at the performers’ collective universe, each of their own worlds vibrating alone within it.

Performances of “Hot Winter” are Sept. 21- 23, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m at Art House Productions, 262 17th Street.

Tickets are $20. To purchase, visit arthouseproductions.org or call (201) 918-6019.

Birdhouse is a collaborative New York City based artist collective founded in 2018 by White that creates intensely physical performance and installation works that confront cultural ideas of humanity, love, violence, and community.

Art House's 5,500 square foot facility has elevator access, gender-neutral family bathrooms, and wheelchair ramp accessibility. For accessibility requests and inquiries, please contact info@arthouseproductions.org or call (201) 918-6019.
