Fourth Ward Councilwoman and recently defeated mayoral candidate Dawn Zimmer was voted president of the nine-member Hoboken City Council at the reorganization meeting this afternoon.

Her close ally, 5th Ward Councilman Peter Cunningham, was voted vice president of the body.

Before the meeting, Councilman Peter Cammarano was inaugurated as mayor.

Have to agree with Margaret. Zimmer's majority is just trying to give her power and keep Mason and Russo down.

After an entire church of all faith prayers, including Priests and Pastors and Rabbi's and Sikhs, the new council members refused to be

cooperative in any way. Mene Mene Tekel Uph'arsin! God Bless Mason, and Russo and Giacci..it was obvious that the hand of God touched them and they tried to move Hoboken

forward from the obnoxious politics of the past.
