If you're a West New York resident, you may have noticed fliers being passed around and placed on walls. There seems to have been two fliers being passed around. The first is from the Police Benevolent Association, local 361, who are telling the community about their upcoming protest tomorrow July 15 at the commisioners meeting at noon. The other is a flyer in color ink, written in English and Spanish on the back that talks about the proposed recall election. The flyer is against the recall election and says that those asking for signatures are lying about taxes becoming lower and warns that a special election could cost taxpayers $250,000. No information has been given as to who is behind the flyers. Stay tuned for more information. Melissa Rappaport

The flyers against the recall are obviously from the Vega administration. They are trying to intimidate the residents into not signing the petitions. The election wont cost as much as Sal Vega has cost the town by giving incompetent fools ridiculous salaries.
