Why stay at a hotel in Hudson County if you are only an hour away? Well, a writer for the Asbury Park Press found lots of reasons. She was amazed at Hudson County's offerings - the light rail trains, the terrific hotel values, the easy access to New York City. She says she watched the July 4 fireworks from her hotel room in Jersey City for $179 a night. Hear that, New York?
