I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who participated in the Weehawken 150th Anniversary Parade. Over 50 different groups were part of this parade, which was the largest in Weehawken’s history. It took a lot of preparation for this parade and each group was supportive and excited to be involved. It was a great way to showcase our varied and diverse community.
In addition I’d like to thank the thousands of residents who came to the post parade celebration in the Shades afterwards. The celebration was wonderful as residents danced to music and reminisced about our town’s rich history.
I am looking forward to seeing residents again on Saturday October 3rd at our 17th Annual “Weehawken Day” as we continue our 150th Anniversary celebration. Please remember you must sign up in advance for tickets and can do so by visiting Town Hall.
As always if you have any questions please feel free to contact me at (201)-319-6005.
