Cheryl Butler and Jane Napier announced Sept. 14 as the opening of the 2009/2010 season of the Mt. Carmel Women’s Bowling League.

Results of the first night were Team No. 1 took two games from team No. 2; Team No. 3 took two from Team No. 4; Team No. 5 took three from Team No. 6; Team No. 8 took three from Team No. 7, and Team No. 10 took two from Team No. 9.
