HUDSON COUNTY -- A dog was left by a young woman in a Hoboken taxi recently, but a North Bergen-based animal rescue group turned it over to the girl's parents.
Right now, lots of animal rescue groups and individuals are pitching in to try to deal with the growing problem of inadequate shelter services for dogs throughout Hudson County. A petition was even filed recently.
