HUDSON COUNTY -- State Sen. Sandra Cunningham has been named to the bi-partisan transition team for Governor-Elect Christopher Christie. The transition team is made up of members of both political parties in order to ease the change from one administration to another when a candidate from the opposite political party takes office.
While people connected with Cunningham actively worked on Christie’s behalf as part of Democrats for Christie, Cunningham claimed that none of her staff members were involved.
The team will be headed by David Samson, a former attorney general for the state, and includes a number of business, political and academic leaders from around the state. AS
