BAYONNE -- Firefighters rescued an unconscious dog from a two-alarm fire on Broadway near 32nd Street on Thursday. Kearny firefighters training with Bayonne firefighters during a waterfront exercise were among the first units to set up, said Chief Greg Rogers.
More details of the fire were not available, but Rogers said no one was hurt as a result.
The current status of the dog is unknown.
