To the Editor:

The September 11…Bayonne Remembers Committee would like to thank all the clergy members and especially Rabbi Gordon Gladstone, who was master of ceremonies, for participating in this year’s ceremony. We also want to thank Hon. Mayor Mark Smith; the leader of song, Tara O’Donnell; bag piper, Thomas Mulhern; taps player, Brandon Ponzo; singer Xavier Wise; Bayonne High School Marching Band and trumpet players; as well as the Bayonne Fire Department and Bayonne Police Department Color Guards; and the Bayonne Memorial Day Parade Committee Color Guards.

In addition, we thank Director of Public Works Gary Chmielewski and Superintendent of Parks and Recreation Pete Amadeo and his staff along with Patricia L. McGeehan, superintendent of schools, and Joan Rosen, director of music of the Bayonne Board of Education.

Special thanks are sent to the school children from the private and public schools and the caring people of our city who attended our ceremony.
